Singing Demos - Terms and Conditions
1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Session Booking: All sessions must be scheduled in advance. A non-refundable deposit of £45 is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance payable on the day of your session.
1.2 Payment: Payment can be made via bank transfer or cash. The full payment must be completed on the day of the session.
2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

2.1 Cancellations: You may cancel your session up to one week before the scheduled date. A £45 fee will apply for cancellations made after this period.
3. Backing Tracks

3.1 Track Provision: Due to copyright regulations, Singing Demos cannot provide or share any previously used backing tracks. Clients are responsible for supplying their own legally obtained tracks.
4. Session Process

4.1 Session Duration: Each session typically lasts around 2 hours, including setup and final review. However, the session may conclude sooner if the client is well-prepared and satisfied with the takes.
4.2 Review of Takes: At the session’s end, clients will review all selected cuts and takes. This is the opportunity to ensure satisfaction with the reel. No re-takes will be allowed after the session concludes, and any further adjustments will require booking a new session.
5. Rights and Usage

5.1 Recording Ownership: Clients retain full ownership of their vocal performances recorded during the session. However, Singing Demos reserves the right to use brief excerpts for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
5.2 Copyright Compliance: Clients must ensure that all backing tracks and materials used during the session comply with copyright laws. Singing Demos is not liable for any copyright infringements resulting from the use of unauthorized materials.
6. Liability

6.1 Studio Liability: Singing Demos is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury sustained during the session, except in cases of gross negligence.
6.2 Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for any damage to studio equipment caused by misuse during their session.
7. Privacy

7.1 Data Protection: Singing Demos will protect your personal information in accordance with data protection laws. Your details will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
8. Agreement

8.1 Acceptance: By booking a session with Singing Demos, clients agree to these Terms and Conditions.

While we assist in creating these demos, we do not claim ownership of the content and do not offer legal advice regarding its use.

Responsibility and Use of Content
Singing Demos strives to deliver high-quality recordings tailored to our clients' needs, but we cannot be held liable for any copyright issues arising from the use of the recorded material. The content produced is intended solely for promotional purposes within the entertainment industry (e.g., securing agents, being considered by casting directors) and not for commercial profit.

Client-Supplied Backing Tracks
Clients must provide their own backing tracks for use in their recordings and are solely responsible for ensuring that they have legally obtained these tracks and possess the necessary rights to use them. Singing Demos does not provide or source backing tracks and is not liable for how clients obtain these files. Any legal consequences arising from the use of backing tracks are the client's responsibility.

Use of Client Recordings by Singing Demos
Singing Demos may use portions of recorded demos on our platforms, including our website and Instagram page, strictly for demonstration purposes. These recordings showcase the quality of our services and the talent of the singers we work with. We will not use client recordings for commercial purposes or profit without explicit permission. Clients may request the removal of their content from our platforms at any time.

Legal Compliance
Clients are responsible for ensuring that all materials they choose to record, including backing tracks, do not infringe on any existing copyrights. This includes, but is not limited to, songs, lyrics, and music arrangements. By using our services, clients acknowledge that they have the necessary permissions to use the material in their recordings or that the material falls under fair use or public domain categories.

Limitations of Liability
Once demo reels are delivered to the client, Singing Demos has no control over the use and distribution of the content. Therefore, we cannot be held responsible for how the content is used or any legal claims that may arise. Clients should seek appropriate legal advice if they intend to use the recordings in a way that could potentially violate copyright laws.
